If you're going through a break-up with your ex, the last thing you want to be thinking about is how to recover from the heartbreak. I don't know all the details of that particular situation, but the gist of it is that my ex's co-worker even went as far as to make a move. Naturally, he had no interest in continuing any type of contact with this 'friend' on his resume. So one day, he came up to me and asked me if I had heard anything about his co-worker "hanging" with him on his resume; I responded with some denial and didn't really pay much attention. You can guess what happened next though... my ex made it clear that he had no interest in continuing the relationship either (while I find this hard to believe). Needless to say, I was shocked! But does this make him a bad person? NO! I know, I know... I should have asked more about the subtle clues he left out. He seemed like such an honest guy all the time. But at this point, we're approaching 4 months of no contact with each other. There's still an emotional wall between us that hasn't started crumbling any time soon! Each time I try to initiate any contact it just seems like another brick in that wall that keeps him out.
